I read A Girl Called Al by Constance C. Greene. In this story the main character is a girl who lives in an apartment building who hasn't really met her best friend yet, and is in middle school. She lives in the apartment with her dad, mom, little brother, and herself. The closest thing she has to a best friend is the assistant superintendent in the apartments. He is an elderly man who is alone and used to be a bartender. She has a pretty good personal appearance, a so called "stunner" if you will. Her personality is a very thoughtful one, she's really going to try and get to know you and care about you. She's not going to befriend you and then leave you stranded, hoping for help. She will try to help in any way she can, even though unfortunately it isn't that much. In this story she meets, who she is confident, her best friend forever who will be by her through thick and thin in Al. Her secret goal that only Al knows about is her desire to be a model. One down point of our main character though is her lack of confidence. In the story she is asked to make decisions and she is so unsure of herself it hurts her in the long run. She is by no means inconsiderate. She is always very conscious of herself not to make anybody feel down or discouraged. I think many people do or will admire her for her bravery and honesty. If something is unfair she will let you know, but will be very kind in how she delivers it.
I think that the main theme for this book is be considerate to others. The main character sort of figured this out when she wasn't thinking of Al's father situation. That event portrayed an awkward period when they kind of separated a little bit. After a week or so they come together and make up and it's like that incident never happened. The main character made a promise to herself to be more aware of Al's situation within. I have gone through something very similar to what the main character did. I wasn't thinking of my friends families situation and I regret some of the things I said imagining that everybody had both original parents around when I made a mistake. I regretted it immediately apologizing almost instantaneously. We both went through that awkward state of silence between and everyday I apologized, until about a week later when that person invited me back to their house again. It was like the knife had been taken out. I am so lucky to have a friend like them. I don't know what I'd do without them.
Thank you!

Mini Recommendation for A Girl named Diaster from Aaron Bible
I am doing a short little recommendation for the story A girl named disaster.
This book is about a girl who is a young teenager who is in a tribe, living in Africa. It talks about her many struggles including having to live and do a seemingly endless amount of work, for Aunt Shuvai, because her mom was killed by a hyena when Nhamo(the main character) is very young. Nhamo's father is left her because he accidentally killed a man. Because her father is gone she is faced to pay the consequences for the wrong done so. Her consequence is she has to marry the dead's man brother who has many wives, and everyone knows that the other wives will beat Nhamo for being newer and younger than them. Before she is forced to go her grandmother tells her to take a boat and travel all way to Zimbabwe, which is a long way from her village. she has to face all the dangerous encounters along the way such as angry hungry hippos, lurking alligator's, don't think she won't have physical and mental obstacles too. Such as starvation, depression, loneliness, as well as more. Her initial plan is to get their right away. But, some things happen and kind of set her back. Well she finally persevere and make it, or will she just give up hope and let the spirits take her. Read it to find out.
If you like a book that slowly, but detaily take you every turn and nook and cranny, than this book is for you. If you like sitting on the edge of your seat, panting excessively while strangling your cat mistakenly, than you probably wouldn't like to read this novel. It carefully takes you through the book even through the boring parts, and doesn't just fast forward to the action. If you enjoy reading learning about the culture of some people than I think you should take a gander with this book. I liked the book at some parts, and didn't at others. I would've liked a tad more action in it.

Why?
The vikings offically cut ties with the six time pro bowler moss after his lack of production and attitude. Coach Childress say " he wants good players with a good attitude and moss just wasn't cutting it. He clear through every team starting with the worst to become a free agent.

Brett Favre

Brett Favre's had a great career, no dought the best QB ever but should he sit out a game and let the ever underperforming slouch T-Jack (below) play or try to push aside the almost weekly injuries and salvage whatever's left in the tank of the 41-year old favre. Let me know what you think. STAY SPORTY (but not to sporty)!

Book Report

I liked this book a lot because it was really thrilling, it kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't look away when I had to. The group of kids was always in turmoil, dealing with a new problem and trying to find a solution to the problem at hand. They do things in a realistic manner, they go to school, they eat lunch they make friends, have enemies, have crushes, etc. The group really cares about each other and it's really inspiring. I also extremely like that it's in a real not ficticious place at Disney World and all it's parks. I would recommend this book to any one who has every breathed on this planet, it is that good! Have you ever just read a book and were not satisfied, will then this book will save you. This book will give you many questions, but it will quickly answer them in a great, acceptable way. You just cannot go wrong with this book. This book is acceptable, I mean great for all ages, your mom will love it, your dad will love it, your 82 year old grandma will love it, your little brother as he's picking his nose and unable to leave a booger as a bookmark because it's so good will love it, your crazy uncle uncle who sticks his foot in a blender will love it, and more. Everyone who bothers to read this post should read the book and love it. Especially those who just curl up on the couch with a bag of snickers in the winter and read, should consider this book very heavily.
MAIN CHARACTER
First of all, the main character's name is Finn, he's one of five kids that are DHI's and somehow appear at the park when they fall asleep. There's nothing special about his personnal appearance, he's normal height for his age, normal weight, normal hair, normal face. The really only unique thing about him is he apears at Magic Kingdom when he falls asleep. His personality traits are basically just a very lovable who cares about what he believes in. He's gonna stand up for what's right. I would say that Finn is pretty confident about what he and the group can do. He's definetly not going to be a downer and make everybody what to quit he is very inspiring. If looking for someone to look up to real of ficticious, he could be that guy. He is by no means "all about me" if someone is having trouble, he takes the time to listen and help that person (not to common anymore). He positively, no doubt about it, is NOT inconsiderate. What makes him different from the others is his pure leadership skills, when there group is held captive by the characters, he assumes the leadership to make a plan to get away. There's much more I can talk about, but I'm sure you don't want to hear it all.
If you notice I switched the required category and the choice category I hope that isn't a problem. Sorry for this coming in late, I've had a lot of homework this week to catch up on.

Blue Sox 3rd edition
This year was going to be my third year of St.Cloud Blue sox travel baseball, and I wanted it to be special. I was determined to have a great year, no my best ever year. My first two years of Blue sox were average. My very first game I had three hits and I just took off from there. The St.Cloud Blue sox began in 2006 with just one team and it took off from there. In 2007 it moved to one team for each age group from 9-15 years old. In 2008 I thought I'd join. I was on the 11 year old team and I was pumped. I ended up having an average year, but I had a lot of fun. The next year I was on the 12 year old team, and I had a little better year. But in my third year on the 13 year old team I broke out in a big way. I picthed almost every game. I didn't only pitch i PITCHED! I hit in the 3rd spot most of the year. I led my team in hits, on base percentage, innings pitched, era, and strikeouts thrown. I great year if you ask me. Until next time this is BIB. Stay sporty.
